I love to explore – whether it is the beauty of the world around me or new thoughts and ideas. So I have created Ripples in the Wind as a place to share some of the many thoughts, inspirations and musings that ripple through my mind and heart.
When I began this blog, I lived in Somerset (UK) with my husband, where I enjoyed being surrounded by beautiful countryside and where we attended the local Methodist Church.
At the end of July 2017 we relocated to Romania and now live in a village in Transylvania, not far from Cluj-Napoca.
Several years ago, following an acute viral illness, I became seriously ill and was diagnosed with severe ME/CFS. I have made a substantial recovery since then, but continue to suffer symptoms of weakness, fatigue and brain fog and rely heavily on wheels in order to get about.
